I have voted yes because i hate any pocket pair. Whenever i get pairs i feel as though i have to see the flop at least and sometimes that is costly especially against the bingo players with their stupid raises pre-flop.

I hate hate hate aces. I guess I am just not great at playing them or something because it seems no matter how I play them I lose.

I've probably folded lots more pocket Aces than I've played. To me they are like a big flashing sign that says..

"THROW AWAY ALL YOUR CHIPS HERE!!"

I voted no because I haven't played enough chips on pocket aces to lose anything. I have witnessed others get smoked with three of a kind J's though, so I understand where you all are coming from.

I dont hate them but always get a bit twitchy if I get em. Still Id rather have pocket Aces than 70% of the other hands ya get dealt lol

well got to say,i'd prefer pocket aces to anything else, well it is the best starting hand.
and your 80%( 4 out of 5) to win against 1 caller,but beware the more callers your odds go down..

so i try to play them against just 1 other hand, your still not guarenteed to win, but thats poker

i dont mind rockets, its kings that always screw me up. Tempting to bet big but always meet an ace on the flop.I have had better luck with queens than kings, they drive me crazy...xxxx shirl xxxx

When i see pocket aces i always give all in.First time when i had pocket aces i didn't bet a lot before the flop and afterwards i lose ... I hate pocket aces

So right Tidds....Give me AA anytime and Ill not complain..Put a good raise in and your going to get most too fold and most time at least one will call........4/1 in your favour are pretty good odds and if you get beat then fair play to the guy who called.....

I know ppl say they hate them but lets face it we all get a buzz when they appear in your hand. In normal tournie poker with money involved whether that just be entrance fee money or normal bet money then a big raise will normally get enough ppl off the pot to increase your chances of not getting caught. In free poker its difficult to get anyone of the pot pre-flop. The other problem is the unwillingness to fold them when you think you may have been caught - that is what costs most ppl with AA. Lets be honest pre-deal we all want them.

with the lesser pairs i have just got into the habit of calling a raise if not basic flat calling and checking to see the flop. Again this is a free table strategy - in entrance fee poker i will make a raise on anything above sevens but be prepared to get off if the flop doesnt suit.

i was on koth today and got them, i raised to 300k ish someone goes all in 1.5 mil i called pre flop she turns 55
