what is my problem

hi all finding myself getting more and more frustrated with my game i know i can play i'm not saying i'm the best poker player in the world but i'm not bad(i dont think) ive been trying to work out how i can change my game,how i can win more and how to stop losing on silly bets.

I've won a few tourney and when we changed script i managed to get to about 10 final tables in 12 tourney,ive had days where i could do no wrong but lately i cant get a thing i know alot of it is my fault but i continuesly get beat on the river no i find myself moaning more and more about my game so i have decided i'm gonna try something.

I'm going to turn all chat off for a wee while and see if it helps me consentrate i know that this is ment to be fun and for you's who know me know i like to have the crack and i live for making everybody laugh(getting harder to do) but i think i need to try something, it might not work but hey i might as well try.


so to all my friends i wish you gl on the tables and please dont think i'm being bad if i dont answer you i just dont have my chat on. i will continue to visit and make posts and stupid threads and hey by this time next week my chat might be back on and i'll have realised that i'm just cr4p at poker(shut it guffy) i wish you's all the best and i'll speak to you's all soon

Everyone gets a run of bad cards, or worse yet good cards and bad flops. I think there is a law that your bad runs always last longer than you good runs. I don't understand how concentrating on bad cards will help, but give it a shot. It might be better to just chat your way through the bad streak. I find that the more you care and the harder you try the more frustrating a bad run can be. Maybe you should start drinking.
Looking forward to seeing you on the tables and if you don't chat I will understand. If you start winning I won't be so understanding.

Mate it happens to us all. Hang in there, after a day or two it'll be back to normal. That's assuming you are normal to start with of course?

hi roly you are a good player m8 dont forget that bad runs happen and we all remember bad beat rivers,but one thing to remember is if you get a bad beat dont tilt next hand and think you can win take your time and go back to playing tight and fold a few hands and start again,if your ko out off tourny theres always the next game head up m8 and i hope your luck changes soon

i spent a month where i played 45 tournies and didnt get to one final table
last week
10 final tables
2 gold 3 bronze and 128 tournie points
it will swing around
just have to keep trying

Hey Roly,

If you think it will help, turn off chat. I have to block it out if I want to play serious, which is almost never. My medal list will prove that.

But in the free rolls and games I actually do take serious, I don't talk much if at all. I do play better then and don't call silly bets.....as much.

Yes m8 sally is spot on, I can never get you to answer me cus your on 2 or 3 tables at a time you greedy git. like sa11y said you would do better on 1 table and im in total agreement with her. I'd be more frustrated not being able to reply to my friends than worrying about my bad run, bad runs always come to an end m8. Your friends are more important. Steve.

hey thanks very much for the support and advise and i will take it on board and will try if this doesnt work. this os a permanent thing just trying something out.

i've played a couple of tourneys since i started this the day done crap till i played the $100 guaranteed tourney at 17:00 our time played my game tight no chat on (or so i thought) i ended up getting 9th and winning $3.50 and only went out due to lucky play i had AA against the chip leader who had Q10 suited and he hit 2 pair (i can live with that)

So as i say gonna keep trying this for a bit and see how i go i love you's all and wish you's all the best and good luck on the tables

just a further update ive just won outlaws turning my chat on only to say i folded the K when there was 3 dealt on the flop and then to wish yoda a gg.

Is this my luck turning do u think or is it that i'm concentating mare thats an 8th and a 1st in my last 2 tourneys winning $6.50 no bad when i only play the smaller tables and tourneys
