what would u do??

was on the 2500/5000 table earlier and was in a hand with pres77..
there was no raise pre flop and the flop came 567.. i had A8 so floped an open ended str8 draw.. he bet out so i called.. turn was an ace so now i had top pair and a str8 draw. then he bet the pot so i called again..
the river was an ace witch i thought was a good card. but then he bet all in 500k! so i thought for a min and put him on a full house so i folded it was a hard fold but i was right he told me after the hand he had pocket 7s..
just wondered if u would of called the all in and be truthfull lol

sometimes i think i need to find me fold button more though lol.

I'm with Patience, rightly or wrongly I would have probably got a rush of blood to the head when the Ace came on the river and called.

I guess it is a hard one to judge and it also begs the question how well do you know the player who is making the bet. If it were someone who I would class as a cautious player, then I probably would have folded.

no he didnt show but pres is a honest guy and ive known him for quite a while.. but if he was lieing then nice 1 pres u got me m8 lol..
those who said they would call 2 see hes cards then fair enough i wanted to aswell lol but i had to call 500k into a 500k pot so i wasnt getting good odds to call so i folded..

Simple answer - Call

The question, as asked, is a simple one, or so it seems. Given the information you provide, you are on a play money table, and given the blinds I would have to assume you have a substantial stack in reserve. So call is the answer for me, and that would be why I might lose that hand. On the play money side it depends how you feel about getting on the top list as to how many risks you are willing to take.

If this were a real money table, then I would have folded. I think (and I am sure those who play real money can confirm this) that the odds are in his favor. Based on the betting I would have to think he had it.

I tend to play the two types of chips differently. Even on the old scripts, once I got my stack to a certain level I would play KOTH wide open on the risk level.

i would have called...........but good lay down........as free chips on the rings is full of bluffers.........one less now as i don't play them

he bet every round, including bet pot and all-in, so i guess i'd have folded- but tht's easy to say just looking at the info, if i was right there and then i may have called out of impulse... three aces is three aces, and there was no flush out. He could have had:

1- An ace with bigger kicker
2- A straight
3- or as deano suspected, and turned out truthfully, a full house

too many possibilities to be beaten by, calling seems more hopeful than anything...and i'm a tight @$$ anyway so, fold
