Why did I win?

Hoping someone can explain this for me please.

In a tourney, all folded except me and 1 other player, who called.

I am last to go so even though I have 62os I call (its only 50) just to see what flops. If he raises I will fold but he doesn't.

Flop = 6 6 4. He bets 150 I call. (maybe should have raised)

Turn = K. He bets 150 I call

River = Q. He goes all in, I call.

I' holding 62 and he's holding 6J

I presume I'm out because he has the J but we get a split pot? I can't work out why he didn't get the pot and why I didnt go out?

What am I missing here?

Ive had it myself steve, i got called all in in on omaha tables, had 6,over two,s........662 on table 62 in hand guy called all in i called, he got it on 3x6....showed clearly on table,even said he got it on 3x6.......... yet i had a full house?????

Think its the way the computer reads them, had it lots lately.....strange

You split the pots cos both of you had a 5 card hand of 6,6,6,k,q the 6th card doesnt count

only 5 cards count you both got 666s and kq so that is why it is split, the kq has saved you otherwise you would have been outkicked.
