u need the ae for the five high str8 u must hav 5 cards for a str8 and 5 cards suited for a flush

No it wasnt a joke, i really didnt know. i thought the five high straight would be a special straight. I didnt know that i need Five cards for it.

Not sure whether you mean Xatus doesn't deserve to have that many chip not knowing the rules or has done incredibly well to get that far!

If Xatus was serious I'd like to think the latter!

Seriously, Xatus; to progress you really need to understand exactly what is a winning hand (and probably which hands beat which) lots of stuff available on the net and you don't have to spend that long learning the basics and finding some useful tips
