why take so long

why is it that people take so long to choose to bet, check, raise or fold. poker is about taking the chance. gamble with ur money.....

well u dont expect people to no wat to do straigth away do u! sometimes u gotta think if u have good had to check so others bet and u raise! to catch them out!! its a thinking game to i think

No, I don't agree, for me Poker is not a Gamble, its a game of wits, and of understanding people.

If you learn to read people your poker game will be pretty good already... My 2c's, I am by no means a poker pro.

Also, sometimes I use as much time as I have allocated to manipulate the people around my table. Sometimes I also play (Raise or Call) very quickly, also to manipulate people.

you just have to accept that all of us play in different ways be patient if a table or players are not to your liking just change tables that easy

hi, somtimes other players on the table will say things to try and speed others up,its your choice. everyone plays there own game.

I also think sometimes its to do with your internet connection speed!

And coz some players play on more then 1 table at a time.

Some people are doing more than just playing poker. Also players may be on multiple tables at once. Patience grasshopper......
