Wizard of Odds

So say I was to make a poker bet that you could choose one of 3 hands: A K off suit, J 10 suited, or 44 in the pocket. Then I can pick one of the hands you didn't pick. Which would you pick? Try guessing before calculating the odds, then you could check yourself. It's really interesting.

Good vote. Probably would have picked the same if given the option. You should try to see the odds of 44 vs. AK and 44 vs. JTs on your own (or you can just wait and I'll post it after other get a chance to guess).

Also side note if you put AKo, 44, and JTs together the JT wins most (unless in the same suit as the A or K). I find that quite interesting as well and against what I'd expect.

voted JT suited..fav hand..cannot justify it against the rest truly but it works for me..or rather has worked for me so far..lol!

Voted for the 4s, although wouldnt have minded the J 10 suited. AK off definately my last pick.
If im up against the 4s though, I'd pick the J10..

AK off for me, pocket 4's is looking for 2 cards left in pack, AK is looking for 6 cards , the 10 J suited does have slight advantage of the up n down straight and flush but personally i'd rather hold the over cards,but thats just me

This question could depend on what type of pre flop bet we are talking.
Has everybody just limped in, is everybody all in, small raise, big raise, big pot, short stacked.
I still think I'd pick AK for most, except I'd rather limp with 4,4.

For the particular bet I'm talking about it's 1 of 3 options you pick. Your opponent then picks one of the remaining two. You can consider it a forced all in preflop. Or you can run it however many times and either divide the money or whoever wins the most takes it all. I heard Amarillo Slim used to actually make this bet against opponents.

In a heads up, I'd go for pocket 4's
In a ring table it'd be my least favourite of the 3 options
But to answer your question - I voted pocket 4's

My vote was J,10 but like Tel, AK is the only hand I would consider as a hand to call someone else's all-in bet.

I suppose that says I'm illogical.
