Default your favourite op66 tourney

Hey all, we all love playing the op66 tourneys, but which one do you prefer??? is there a certain reason you love playing this tourney??? share it with everyone!

I personally prefer the BC tourney as i feel it is the most populated tourney and therefore a better game (plus its the one i have won the most ) what are your thoughts??

For ranking tourneys I can only play NYT. My kids are too mad to let me play anything else. Plus I can only play at weekends ....... real bummer.

However the STL tourney and the Monday BluesBuster are great to play in too. There's no ranking points but the atmosphere is great. The same goes for JimmySymtex's International Tourney, brilliant atmosphere whether you're watching or playing. The only other tourney I can play in is the 9 p.m. (UK) invitational (so long as its not booked). You always get a great game there no matter what your cards are. Again, the atmosphere is phenomenal.

On reading what I've just typed I think I might be a bit biased towards 9 p.m. What do you think? lol

I love the Crown (been lucky enough to win 5 Golds)... I love the Mammoth (quality of play is kicked up a few notches for obvious reasons). But I love to play any of the others, simply for the attraction of points and medals... except for chasing chips in the Mammoth (to help fund future buy-ins!), chips are never a focus for me. It's all about points and medals!

Nice thread, Tony!

I would say out of the free tourneys the Mammoth is definately my favourite because it more closely resembles what I would condsider poker. I enjoy the STL for the banter and the good spirt in which it is played and the Originals for the same reason. I play the British Crown regularly and the Hetmans at weekends, but I have to say they are loosing their appeal due to the standard of play, which I accept is largely due to people still learning the game.

The Outlaws would be my favourite tourney on the money side, and has it's own community who I enjoy playing with.

has to be Hetmans - the only one that I can play regularly in my time zone. It was 10pm during aussie winter, now 11pm and I thionk it nay change to midnight when daylight savings stops in Northern Hemispshere - in which case I won't play that much until next Aussie winter.

Oh well. love the site

I like the BC also, people just seem to be more fun and alive. Don't know if it is the time of day but this morning the Hetmans was Boring!!!! No one talks much on that one or I guess it just depends on the ppl
