| well i would certainly attend, and can i recommend whitley bay or tynemouth. it has an excellent family caravan park, easy reach of 5 excellent beaches, hotels, bnb's, bars, pubs, clubs, restaurants, cafe's, ice cream parlours. a fantastic place to be for a long weekend. it also has a first rate transport network, even those travelling by train and coach to the city centre are a 5 min walk and twenty minutes on a metro to the coast. if this gets chosen as a possible destination i'll post more info.
